Flipgrid

For some assignments the deliverable will be a short spontaneous video to be greeted within the course Flipgrid site: flipgrid.com/compneuro2020

Perusall

For some assignments the deliverable will be annotation and commenting on assigned readings.  Visit https://app.perusall.com to create an account.  Then enroll in Computational Neuroscience using the course code CONRADI-SMITH-EGVFL

YouTube Studio

For some assignments the deliverable will be a longer video for which you have done some planning and editing.  There are many ways to make videos.  You can “Go Live” in YouTube Studio and then share a link to your work.   Within PowerPoint or Keynote you can record your voice and export a movie file.  This can be uploaded to YouTube and shared via a link.

Here is a video (that I made for my nephews) made using a IPEVO document camera and the built-in screen capture/recording on my Mac book Pro.  I uploaded the resulting .mov file into YouTube and did minimal editing – trimming out the bad parts – within YouTube Studio.

Another option is Adobe Spark.  Here is a How To video:
