Final projects are due Wednesday, May 14.

Regardless of your choice of topic and deliverable, remember the guiding principles of this term project include engaging genuinely and deeply with your topic, and creating a high-quality deliverable that represents your best work (and is worthy to be shared with others).

If the creation of your deliverable involved generative AI, this should be acknowledged in the deliverable itself, or in a “letter to the reader” that you include with your submission. Explain where, when, and how you used this emerging cultural technology. In addition, please describe your experience of its pros and cons, for example, whether or not generative AI led to deeper engagement with your topic.

In Computational Neuroscience today, we learned about good old-fashioned AI (GOFAI) and how it compares to modern LLM-based generative AI, through a conversation with  ChatGPT (see link below).

• The target date for the Final Project proposal is today. This is assignment #4 in Bb.
  
  Don’t rush on this assignment! It’s important that you think carefully about your project proposal (topic, deliverable) and that your proposal includes several good references/resources.
  
  You can upload your 2 pages to Bb as late as Friday without fear of the assignment being considered late.
