Object Recognition

Preparation for this class

  • Read and annotate a review article How does the brain solve visual object recognition? [Perusall] written by DiCarlo et al. Neuron, 73(3), pp.415-434, 2012 [Cell Press].

The assignment – due Thursday at 9am – is focused on the first half of the article (Introduction, Sections 1 and 2, i.e., pp. 415-422) and the Conclusion. Using the Perusall system, make at least 5 worthy comments on the paper and/or contributions to the peer-to-peer discussion.
